Our special Eco-Activist Beit Midrash program offers an opportunity to encounter Judaism and the Land of Israel from a unique perspective. We will learn about the complex environmental issues facing Israel today. We’ll hike through beautiful forests, deserts, and mountains. We’ll explore Jewish texts relating to the environment. And together with local citizens, we’ll dedicate our time and energy to shaping a sustainable future for Israel.
For more information, contact Shaul Judelman on 011.972.50.559.6136 or via email: .
Our inspiring journey will include:
- Challenging and interesting hikes
- Special visits to ecologically sensitive sites
- Thought-provoking study of Jewish attitudes toward environmental topics
- Fulfilling volunteer work in urban community gardens, recycling projects, and local environmental campaigns
- “Mifgashim” (meetings) with Israelis — environmental activists and ordinary concerned citizens
